Hi, I’m Sam and I am a professional actor and teacher…
I have spent the last 10 years working at the top of the Musical Theatre industry. I have been very fortunate to work in some of the biggest West End shows including ‘Les Misérables’ & ‘Oliver!’
Alongside my work as an actor I teach singing and acting in my home town of Henley-on-Thames. Whether it’s an after school activity, retirement hobby or something more serious I know how to get you started and make sure you’re enjoying yourself along the way.
My Coaching

I teach children from 10 years old through to teenagers and adults of any age and ability. I have an enhanced DBS certificate.

I teach 1 to 1 acting or singing lessons. I am happy to teach either discipline exclusively or combine the two. I adjust my lesson plans to your specific goals. Read more about what approach is right for you on the next page.

Lessons take place on a weekly basis & I can accomodate daytime slots for retirees or people who work from home, after school slots for children and also weekends for those who are busy Monday-Friday.

Lessons take place at your home. I am based in the centre of Henley-on-Thames and I drive to the sessions. I am happy to travel up to 20 minutes from my home.

I teach singing and acting because I love Musical Theatre and have done since I was a child. I can still remember all the teachers who inspired and educated me along the way. I am passionate about having that influence on others and passing on my skillset.

I have plenty of students who are just looking to learn for fun! Whether it’s an after school activity or a retirement hobby I know where and how to get you started and make sure you’re enjoying yourself along the way. However, if you want something a bit more in depth I have a vast knowledge of vocal technique and tremendous experience as an actor that can help you rediscover or enhance your abilities.
Drama School Preparation & LAMDA
I specialise in helping people prepare for drama school auditions. Some of my previous students successfully applied and are now working professionally in the industry. I can help you pick and prepare your monologue or song, work through your acting through song, cut your music and talk you through the ins and outs of what to expect on the day. I am also familiar with the LAMDA syllabus and I am happy to prepare you for your upcoming exam.
Professional Coaching & Mentoring
We work in a tricky industry and set backs are inevitable… Whether you are struggling to land auditions, agency representation or failing to book the job on your final round I can help! Having worked consistently for a decade as an actor I know how to work around the issues you’re facing in a mentorship role. Likewise you may need to refine your rep folder, enhance your skills or prepare material for upcoming auditions and that’s where I can professionally coach you to get you where you want to be!
